Introduction
The floods of 2010 in Pakistan began in July after heavy rains. All provinces are effected by the flood, affecting millions of people in the rural areas. Hundreds of villages came under water when water flooded out of dams and rivers. People lost lives, homes, valuables, animals, leaving behind nothing but ciaos and disaster. It is said that this flood is a bigger disaster than 2005 earthquake and sunami.
After the water level goes down, the problems will even grow for the people. People have lost their homes, cattle and crops. Shops and bazars are destroyed so are the bridges connecting various areas.

India built dams on Pakistani Rivers
Despite a lot of Pakistani condemnation, India has built the dams on Pakistani Rivers. The fear of India using the water as a weapon has shown its deadly face in these floods. India released water in the Pakistani rivers just when it was raining and also offered support for flood victims later on. At which many in Pakistan protested and asked the Government of Pakistan to reject it.
Although the Government of Pakistan and the Media is committed to blame the rains for being the only reason for these floods, however rain of a few days (hardly 3 to 4) can not create such immense floods.
Devastation
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the most effected province, thousands of people lost their lives and millions are homeless. Many places are disconnected from the rest of the country as bridges connecting them are demolished with heavy water tides.
Relief Efforts
Pakistan Army is working day and night to evacuate and feed the effected people. Many private organizations are also participating in the relief efforts. However the crises is too big to be handled by limited number of people. Many people are still in need of help.
Growing Problems
More rains are expected in the coming days. Many people are still waiting for help in isolated areas. The need of food and medical help are the most vulnerable problem being faced by the survivors.
